Founder:
Surf for All was created by a french student of Jumeirah College, Antoine de Mascarel. In 2015 he decided to combine his passion for surfing whilst giving back to his community. His inspiration for the project came from the one-week camps he does with the Order of Malta in Lebanon where the aim is to spread joy and happiness to women with Special Needs. With the help of our partners and enthusiastic volunteers, the club has now been running for 3 years.
Starting off with only 1 participant the club has kept growing with the years and now has around 10 participants with approximately the same amount of volunteers. The participants have continuously progressed, being afraid and uncomfortable during the first session of standing up, paddling on their own and having fun at the same time.

Current Status:

As of September 2018, Priscille de Mascarel and Amaury de Lassus have taken over the groups. Amaury is continuing with the senior group, and Priscille has started an all new Junior Surf for All group for ages 8-13. Both groups are doing great and everyone is stoked to be back in the water for another great year!
Partners:

The amazing memories created here wouldn't be possible without the help of our partners: Al Tayer, Surf House Dubai and All4Downs Dubai. Surf House Dubai has been extremely supportive, lending wetsuits, surfboards and stand up paddles since the beginning of our club. Al Tayer, our new sponsor (2018) has come on board, helping keep the activity free of charge for our surfers. Moreover, All4Downs Dubai has helped us get in contact with all the willing special needs teenagers. A combination of both partners have helped the activity run without difficulties.
Latest News:
We have a new sponsor, Al Tayer Group! With their help, we are able to keep the activity free for all the families involved. Sessions have started once again, the senior group (age 16+ ) is full however there are still a few slots in the new junior group (started September 2018 for participants aged 8-15). Feel free to contact us if you would like to help out as a volunteer or would like to participate in the junior group.
